Fresh Strawberry-Watermelon Frozen Lemonade

Serves 4 | 
Fruity, simple and refreshing. Enjoy this frosty beverage as the weather heats up.

Ingredients:

1 lemon, (juice and zest, plus more if desired)
Lemon wedges
Strawberries, (quartered, for garnish)
2 cups seedless watermelon, (chopped)
2 tablespoons sugar, (more for glass rim)
4 cups ice, (crushed)
32 oz strawberries, (hulled)

Directions:

  1. Rub the rims of 4 glasses with the lemon wedges. Dip rims in a small bowl of sugar.
  2. Place lemon juice, strawberries, sugar, watermelon and lemon zest in a blender. Puree, add more sugar, lemon juice and zest if desired for taste.
  3. Once desired sweetness is achieved, add ice and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour frozen lemonade in glasses and garnish with strawberries.
