Honey Sesame Chicken Stir Fry





Serves 4 |
The perfect blend of sweet and savory.
Ingredients:
| 2 tablespoons honey |
| 1 tablespoon rice vinegar |
| 1 tablespoon sesame oil |
| 2 tablespoons soy sauce |
| 1 teaspoon grated ginger |
| 2 cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
| 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin |
| 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers |
| 1/2 cup sliced broccoli |
| 1/2 cup sliced carrots |
| 1/2 cup sliced yellow onion |
| Cooked rice, for serving |
| 1 tablespoon sesame seeds |
Directions:
- Stir together the honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
- Pour the vegetable oil into a large pan. Bring to medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken, and cook for about 5 minutes, until the chicken is browned.
- Add the bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and yellow onion to the pan. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat.
- Divide the rice among serving bowls. Place the chicken and vegetables on top of the rice. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
