Ground Steak Sandwich





Serves 4 |
A simple recipe that packs a lot of flavor.
Ingredients:
3 lbs cube steak |
4 French rolls |
1 onion |
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce |
2 sticks butter |
Hot sauce, (to taste) |
Seasoning salt, (to taste) |
Directions:
- Melt 1/4 stick of butter in a skillet, slice onion and sauté in pan until lightly browned. Remove from heat, pour into container and set aside.
- Slice cube steak into long strips, sprinkle with seasoning salt.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in same skillet. Add in meat, cook 1-2 minutes per side, meat should brown. Remove and set aside. Repeat until all meat is cooked.
- Pour hot sauce into skillet, a few shakes, add in butter and Worcestershire sauce. Pour onions into skillet and sauté for 3 minutes. Pour into a bowl, keep warm.
- Spread a layer of butter on each roll, place in skillet and lightly brown. Repeat until every roll is browned.
- Place meat mixture on half the rolls, spoon on juices from bowl. Place other half of roll and enjoy!
