Ground Steak Sandwich

Serves 4 | 
A simple recipe that packs a lot of flavor.

Ingredients:

3 lbs cube steak
4 French rolls
1 onion
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 sticks butter
Hot sauce, (to taste)
Seasoning salt, (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Melt 1/4 stick of butter in a skillet, slice onion and sauté in pan until lightly browned. Remove from heat, pour into container and set aside.
  2. Slice cube steak into long strips, sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in same skillet. Add in meat, cook 1-2 minutes per side, meat should brown. Remove and set aside. Repeat until all meat is cooked.
  4. Pour hot sauce into skillet, a few shakes, add in butter and Worcestershire sauce. Pour onions into skillet and sauté for 3 minutes. Pour into a bowl, keep warm.
  5. Spread a layer of butter on each roll, place in skillet and lightly brown. Repeat until every roll is browned.
  6. Place meat mixture on half the rolls, spoon on juices from bowl. Place other half of roll and enjoy!
