Apple Cider French Toast





Serves 6 |
Rise and shine to the perfect Fall breakfast.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter, more for serving |
1/2 cup apple cider |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 eggs |
6 slices Texas Toast |
Maple syrup, for topping |
Directions:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt butter in the skillet.
- Whisk together the apple cider, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla extract and eggs in a mixing bowl.
- Dip the Texas Toast into the batter, coating evenly. Shake off excess back into bowl. Repeat with remaining slices of Texas Toast
- Place the bread in the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side. Repeat with remaining slices of Texas Toast
- Serve with butter and maple syrup.
