Easy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken breast
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
8 small tortillas
Pico de Gallo, for topping, optional
Sour cream, for topping, optional
Shredded cheese, for topping, optional

Directions:

  1. Combine chicken, garlic powder, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, lime juice, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss until chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Bring a large pan to medium-high heat. Cook chicken for about 6 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. After cooled, chop up chicken.
  3. Assemble tacos by putting chicken into middle of tortillas. Top chicken with Pico de Gallo, sour cream and cheese.
