Cinnamon Apple Baked Oatmeal





Serves 9 |
A tastier way to begin the day.
Ingredients:
| 3 cups old fashioned oats |
| 1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 2 teaspoons baking powder |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1 cup milk |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten |
| 2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
| 1/2 cup salted butter, melted |
| 2 cups peeled and chopped apples |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. Grease a large baking dish with baking spray.
- Combine the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
- Whisk in the melted butter.
- Fold in the apples.
- Pour the oatmeal mixture into the baking dish. Place the baking dish into the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
