Turmeric Ginger Lemonade with Mint





Serves 4 |
A refreshing and lively lemonade.
Ingredients:
| 4 cups water |
| 2 teaspoons ground ginger |
| 2 teaspoons turmeric powder |
| 1/4 cups lemon juice |
| 4 tablespoons honey |
| Lemon slices |
Directions:
- Pour the water into a pot and bring to a light boil on high heat. Add the ground ginger and turmeric powder, continue to boil for about 1 minute. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the stove and let cool.
- Pour the liquid through a mesh strainer into a pitcher. Add the lemon juice and honey to the pitcher. Stir together until well combined.
- Add a few lemon slices to the pitcher and place into the refrigerator to chill.
- When the lemonade is cold, pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
