Grilled Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Serve as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients:

2 fresh asparagus, trimmed
cooking spray
black pepper
1 bacon strips, halved lengthwise

Directions:

  1. Set asparagus on a large plate. Coat asparagus with cooking spray, and then sprinkle with black pepper. Turn asparagus to coat.
  2. Wrap one piece of bacon around each piece of asparagus. Secure ends with toothpicks.
  3. Prepare grill for medium heat.
  4. Grill asparagus, uncovered, until bacon is crisp, about 4 to 6 minutes on each side. Discard toothpicks before serving.
Course: Appetizer, Side
