Ground Orange Chicken





Serves 4 |
Fast, easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons avocado oil |
1 lb ground chicken |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black ground pepper |
3/4 cup orange juice |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1/3 cup coconut aminos |
1 tablespoon arrowroot |
1/3 cup date paste |
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper |
Steamed rice, for serving |
Directions:
- Drizzle the avocado oil in a large saucepan. Bring to medium heat. Add the ground chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir until browned.
- Whisk together the orange juice, garlic, coconut aminos, arrowroot, date paste and crushed red pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the sauce into the pan. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
- Spoon the steamed rice on to serving plates. Top with the ground orange chicken. Enoy!
