Strawberry Cheesecake Rolls

Surprisingly easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

1 tube crescent roll dough, 8 oz.
4 oz whipped cream cheese
1 tablespoon butter, melted
For the Strawberry Sauce:
2 cups chopped strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup sugar
For the Glaze:
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Roll out the dough. Spread cream cheese onto the dough and roll the dough. Roll back up.
  3. Cut into 8 pieces. Place the rolls on baking sheet. Brush the melted butter over top.
  4. Place into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. Combine the strawberries, lemon juice, cornstarch, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to medium heat and cook until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Stir together the lemon juice and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
  7. Drizzle strawberry sauce and then the glaze over the rolls. Enjoy!
