Serves 6 |
Light, flaky and perfectly sweet.

Ingredients:

2 cans crescent rolls, 8 oz. each
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Grease a muffin tin with baking spray.
  2. Flour your working surface. Open and roll out the crescent roll dough as two sheets.
  3. Combine the cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  4. Spread a small amount of the melted butter across one sheet of the croissant roll dough. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over top. Place the second layer of croissant roll dough on top of the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  5. Slice the dough into long strips lengthwise. Roll each strip up like a cinnamon roll. Dip each roll into the remaining butter and cinnamon-sugar mix.
  6. Place each roll into the muffin tin. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
