Dinnertime has never tasted so good!

Ingredients:

1 whole turkey, 13 lb.
1 teaspoon instant bouillon powder
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
2 yellow onions, quartered
1 orange, zested then sliced
Fresh rosemary sprigs
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 cup olive oil
8 tablespoons orange juice
2 cups bone broth
2 heads garlic, peeled and sliced

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Place the turkey, breast-side up, into a large roasting pan. Season inside the cavity with instant bouillon, salt, and pepper. Place half of the onion, half of the orange slices, and several rosemary sprigs in the cavity.
  3. Stir together the orange zest, chopped herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil, half of the orange juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture all over the turkey and under the skin.
  4. Pour the broth and remaining orange juice into the roasting pan. Add the garlic, onion, orange slices, and a few rosemary sprigs to the pan.
  5. Place the turkey into the oven and roast for about 3 hours.
  6. Transfer the roasted turkey to a serving platter and cover with foil. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
