Serves 8 |
The jalapeno adds a nice kick, but doesn't overwhelm with spiciness.

Ingredients:

1 lb white fish fillets, cut to cubes
1 cup flour
1 cup shredded red cabbage
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 jalapeno chilies, cut thin
1 1/4 cups beer
1 lime, cut to wedges
8 soft taco shells, warmed
Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions:

  1. Heat saucepan to 350 degrees F. Add around 2 inches of oil to pan.
  2. Mix flour and beer in a medium bowl. Dip fish in batter and place in pan for around 3 minutes each side (until golden brown). Transfer fried fish to plate and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place fish in taco shells and fill with cabbage and jalapenos, ready to serve!
