Easy Tomato Soup Meatloaf

Easily the tastiest homemade meatloaf.
Ingredients:
2 lb. ground beef |
1 envelope onion soup mix, 1 oz. |
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs |
1 egg, beaten |
1 can tomato soup, 11 oz. |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, egg and ½ cup tomato soup. Place mixture into a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan, and shape mixture. Bake until the meatloaf is cooked through, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- While meatloaf rests, place 2 tablespoons of the pan drippings, remaining tomato soup and water in a 1-quart saucepan; cook mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it is bubbling and hot. Serve soup mixture with the meatloaf.
