Angel Food Cake with Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:
| 1 lb strawberries, hulled and quartered |
| 1/4 cup strawberry liqueur |
| 2 tablespoons brown sugar |
| 2 tablespoons unsalted butter |
| 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish |
| 1 mini angel food cake |
Directions:
- Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, and stir until dissolved.
- Take pan off stove; add liqueur and return to the stove. Add the strawberries along with a pinch salt. Simmer, stirring occasionally, mashing any large strawberry pieces.
- Simmer until almost all the liquid has evaporated and the sauce has thickened.
- Drizzle strawberry sauce over slices of angel food cake and top with sliced strawberries.
