Oatmeal Apple Cookies

Serves 12 | 
Combining two fall favorites into one tasty treat.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 apple, peeled, cored and shredded

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Mix together butter and brown sugar, until ingredients are light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs.
  3. Add ground cinnamon, apple pie spice, salt, baking soda, butter, flour, rolled oats and apple. Mix together well. Form into small balls.
  4. Arrange cookie balls on greased cookie sheet. Place in oven and bake for 9-12 minutes.
  5. While cookies are baking, mix together milk and powdered sugar. Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies.
