Barbecued Ground Beef Sandwiches

Serves 8 |
A saucy sandwich worthy of the big game.
|1 lb ground beef|
|1 teaspoon finely chopped onion|
|1 cup ketchup|
|1 tablespoon mustard|
|1 tablespoon sugar|
|1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce|
|1 tablespoon white vinegar|
|1 teaspoon celery seeds|
|1 tablespoon dry mustard|
|Hot sauce, to taste|
|8 hamburger buns|
- In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until meat crumbles and is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain beef and return to skillet.
- Add ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, celery seeds, dry mustard and sugar to skillet; cook over medium-high heat, stirring often. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove ground beef mix from skillet and serve on buns.
