Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars





Serves 16 |
Perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients:
| 3 bananas |
| 2 cups rolled oats |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1 cup chocolate chips |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
| 3 tablespoons maple syrup |
| 1/2 cup nut butter, your preference |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl. Add the rolled oats, salt, cinnamon, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and nut butter to the bowl. Thoroughly mix.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined baking pan. Gently press down to flatten.
- Place in the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes, until the edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow to fully cool before cutting.
