Sticky Sweet Steak Bites

Great as an appetizer or entrée.

Ingredients:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup brown sugar
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Chopped green onions, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Place the steak pieces in a bowl.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Pour the marinade over the steak pieces. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Bring a skillet to medium-high heat. Drizzle in a splash of avocado oil. Add the marinated steak bites. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked to your preference.
  4. Transfer the steak bites to plates. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
