Meatball Sub Cups

Serves 12 | 
Mini in size but big in flavor.

Ingredients:

1 can crescent rolls, 8 oz
1/2 cup marinara sauce
Italian seasoning, to taste
12 frozen meatballs
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Grease a 12-count muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Roll out and gently flatten the crescent roll dough. Slice the dough into 12 pieces.
  3. Place one piece of crescent dough into each muffin tin, gently pressing down to form a cup-like shape.
  4. Add a spoonful of marinara sauce to each crescent cup. Add a sprinkling of Italian seasoning. Place a meatball into each cup. Spoon a little more marinara over the meatball. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over top.
  5. Place the meatball sub cups into the oven. Bake for 16 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Transfer to a platter and enjoy!
