Cilantro Lime Jalapeno Grilled Chicken

Serves 4 |
Spicy and savory come together to create an amazing dish.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts |
2 cups chopped cilantro |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 tablespoons minced jalapeno |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
- Place the chicken breasts in a large, resealable container.
- Add the cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, jalapeno, garlic, sea salt and ground cumin in a food processor. Pulse until well combined with a thick consistency.
- Pour half of the sauce into a container, cover, and place it in the refrigerator.
- Pour the remaining sauce over the chicken breasts, cover and toss until fully coated. Place the container into the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour.
- Remove both the chicken container and the reserved sauce containers from the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 8 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken breasts to serving plates. Brush an equal amount of the sauce over the top of each chicken breasts and enjoy!
