Turkey Salad Sandwiches





Serves 4 |
A truly delectable dish that's always satisfying.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup celery, (finely chopped) |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise, (fat-free) |
2 tablespoons yogurt, (fat-free, plain) |
2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped |
1 tablespoon raisins |
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, (ground) |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, (ground) |
1 1/4 cups cooked turkey breast, (cubed) |
1 small apple, (rinsed, dried, peeled, cored and chopped) |
8 slices bread, (toasted) |
Directions:
- Combine the first seven ingredients in a large bowl, then add chopped cooked turkey and apple; toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Spoon 3/4 cup of turkey mixture onto four slices of bread; top with remaining bread slices and serve.
