Condiments Tray:
extra virgin olive oil |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
4 garlic cloves |
1/4 lb Buffalo mozzarella cheese |
12 anchovy fillets |
12 leaves fresh basil |
olives |
salt and pepper, to taste |
- Cut the loaf of bread into 1/2 -inch thick slices (or purchase already sliced). Grill or toast bread until lightly toasted.
- Let the guests create their own sandwiches, combining some or all of the above condiments, to their individual taste (i.e. rub garlic on toasted bread slices, drizzle with olive oil or a spread of mayonnaise.) Add the tomato slice, the cheese, anchovy fillet, basil leaves, olives and onion.
