Slow Cooked Chili Dip

Serves 6 | 

Super satisfying and totally delicious.

Ingredients:

16 oz salsa
30 tortilla chips
3 lb. ground beef
2 chipotle peppers, chopped
12 oz beer
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons peanut oil
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon tomato paste

Directions:

  1. Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Pour peanut oil over beef and season with salt. 
  2. Bring a saucepan to medium heat. Once hot, add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Preheat the slow cooker at high heat until hot. Pour beer in first and then add beef. Allow beef and beer to warm up before adding remaining ingredients.
  4. Place in peppers, tortilla chips, tomato paste, salsa, chili powder and cumin. Stir all contents together then close lid. Cook for at least 2 hours.
